Donations received at the recent “Tunes For Tim” spring concert by the Fulton Junior High music department raised more than $800 for the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Upstate Medical University, (UMU), Syracuse. The concert was dedicated to Tim Conners, a Fulton G. Ray Bodley High School freshman and former junior high band member. The concert featured performances by the seventh and eighth grade bands, choruses and orchestras. Accepting the donation is Dr. Stuart Trust, clinical professor at Upstate’s Department of Pediatrics and a Fulton pediatrician; from Meriah Dishaw of the eighth grade orchestra. Joining them for the presentation are, from left: Donna Parkhurst, Fulton Junior High School principal; Paul Reynoso, eight grade band; Kassidy Kearns, eighth grade chorus; Dishaw, Dr.Trust, and Daniel Blatt, second year medical student at UMU.
