Corissa Widger, (left) Empire Interpreting Service (EIS) Director of Spoken Languages, will be attending the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China as part of the CenterState Chamber of Commerce mission to China, Oct. 8 – 16, said Theresa Slater, EIS President. Here she works with Tiantien Zheng, an EIS Mandarin Chinese Interpreter, to learn conversational phrases for her visit. The CenterState group will visit Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai to see how China’s economic reforms continue to transform this ancient land into an unforgettable fusion of the exotic and modern.
