PULASKI, NY – Oswego County AmeriCorps member Stacey Petersen is hosting a donation that will benefit Pulaski students of all ages from Pre-K to 12th grade.
The Oswego County AmeriCorps Program focuses on services for children and families.

At the Pulaski Public Library, Petersen coordinates a summer reading program around the theme “Dig into Reading.”
This summer, sneakers and socks are being collected of all sizes to benefit the students and children of the Pulaski community.
“Share Your Soles” is an outreach community involvement project to “help each other get where we’re going,” Petersen said.
At the library, she has teamed up with the program “Heaven’s Hands” to benefit the children of the community.
Donations collected all summer until September.

Petersen is asking for any gently used sneakers to be donated so all students have the opportunity to exercise and enjoy being kids in our community.
“Share your soles so our youth can enjoy the benefits of the outdoor Pulaski community. The world is a playground and our feet need shoes to show the world what we can do. Your help and support is greatly appreciated and we continue to enjoy the care from our neighbors,” she said.
