Students at Michael A. Maroun Elementary School recently participated in the American Jump Rope for Hearts campaign and help raise significant proceeds for the cause.

For one school week, students took part in a wide variety of jumping exercises during their physical education class.
In total, students at MAM help raise $4,500 in support of the campaign.
Sponsored by SHAPE America and the American Heart Association, Jump Rope for Heart aims to promote physical education and provide children with knowledge of heart disease, all while raising funds for cardiovascular disease research.
