Oswego Speedway Battling For Top Spot in Speed Sport ‘My Favorite Track’ Poll

Speed Sport

OSWEGO, NY – For the fourth consecutive year, Oswego Speedway is dueling with some of the premier motorsports facilities in the world for the top spot in the Speed Sport ‘My Favorite Track’ Poll.

Speed Sport Last season Oswego finished in the fourth position overall, ranked with facilities such as Ohio’s Eldora Speedway and Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway.

Last year’s poll response was twice that received during the poll in 2014 and 10 times  greater than the inaugural poll, held in 2012.

Voting is open through Feb. 24.

Since 2013, Oswego has been ranked among the top five facilities in the country, achieving the top status for an asphalt track in 2015.

That trend seems to be holding true so far in 2016, as Oswego is currently ranked with Eldora, Knoxville, Virginia International Raceway, and New Jersey Motorsports Park, among the front five positions with a full week of voting remaining.

“Oswego’s continued standing in the Speed Sport ‘My Favorite Track’ poll is a true testament to our amazing fans,” said Oswego Speedway PR director, Dan Kapuscinski. “Each year our fans flock to the Speed Sport site to show their allegiance to the Steel Palace.  We cannot thank them enough for that.”
