FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Patrick Wait introduced Joe Fiumara, executive director of Fulton Community Development Agency, who spoke on behalf of the Lake Revitalization Project.
Many improvements have already been made in this third year of a ten-year plan.
The lake is clean enough now to be used for swimming and fishing.
It is expected that the beach opening will be announced soon.
Some of the other future projects include opening the beach by the campground, pontoon boats, kayak rentals and concerts.
The donated funds go to the cleanup efforts and none to administration.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi’s.
