Fulton UPK – Kindergarten Registration for 2019-20 Opens March 23

FULTON – The Fulton City School District has announced open kindergarten and universal pre-kindergarten registration, beginning March 23.

As part of the annual FCSD Parent University event, on-site registration will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 23 at Fulton Junior High School, 129 Curtis St.

After that date, kindergarten and UPK registration will be available through the district’s central registrar. That office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays within the administrative wing at FJHS.

Parents whose children turn five years old by Dec. 1 are invited enroll their child in the kindergarten program. Universal pre-kindergarten is for children who will turn four years old by Dec. 1.

When registering a new student, please bring the following required information: an original birth certificate (with raised seal), up-to-date immunization record and proof of residency.

While parents and guardians may drive their child to UPK, that is not a requirement, as transportation is available for both morning and afternoon sessions.

UPK students must be four years old to be transported to school.

FCSD’s UPK program is operated in partnership with Oswego County Opportunities, the Fulton YMCA, First Step Universal Pre-K and Pinnacle.

There are UPK opportunities for children residing in the area of the district’s elementary schools: Volney, Granby, Fairgrieve and Lanigan.

For more information, contact the central registrar at (315) 593-5513. Application packets can be found on the district website, www.fultoncsd.org. missing or outdated ad config
