Area Students Accepted to Attend SUNY Potsdam


POTSDAM, NY — More than 800 accepted students have already indicated their commitment to attend SUNY Potsdam by submitting deposits.

The group of incoming first-year students hail from across New York State and beyond. SUNY Potsdam’s Class of 2018 will begin classes in August 2014.

The accepted students include:

Alyssa Ames of Central Square, NY, who is set to graduate from Paul V Moore High School.
Maggie Balles-Clark of Phoenix, NY, who is set to graduate from John C Birdlebough High School.
Phillip Cherchio of Lycoming, NY, who is set to graduate from Mexico Academy Central School.
Morgan Cook of Oswego, NY, who is set to graduate from Oswego High School.
Jared DeMarais of Pulaski, NY, who is set to graduate from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School.
Colleen Fraser of Oswego, NY, who is set to graduate from Oswego High School.
Leslie Gelnett of Cleveland, NY, who is set to graduate from Paul V Moore High School.
Christie Gilbert of Bernhards Bay, NY, who is set to graduate from Paul V Moore High School.
Kyle Glenister of Pulaski, NY, who is set to graduate from Pulaski Academy Central Junior-Senior High School.
Michael Hale of Williamstown, NY, who is set to graduate from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School.
Lawrence Halsey of Pulaski, NY, who is set to graduate from Pulaski Academy Central Junior-Senior High School.
Karlie Hilton of Pulaski, NY, who is set to graduate from Pulaski Academy Central Junior-Senior High School.
Dakota Jewell of Mexico, NY, who is set to graduate from Mexico Academy Central School.
Emily King of Oswego, NY, who is set to graduate from Oswego High School.

Nina Purkiss of West Monroe, NY, who is set to graduate from Paul V Moore High School.
Madisyn Whalen of Minetto, NY, who is set to graduate from Oswego High School.
