Oswego County’s Rural Post Offices Survive in New Post Office Plan

U.S. Postal Service logoThe post office’s leaders reacted to a storm of complaints over its plans to close many rural post offices.  Wednesday, it announced plans to keep those offices open.

Now, the bad news:  Many other post offices will have their hours reduced to compensate for the changes.

Oswego Hospital To Hold Summertime MASH Camp For Youths

School of Education work to highlight college’s summer projects

The view from the second floor of the rising Science and Engineering Innovation Corridor shows work progressing on the soon-to-be-adjoining Wilber Hall addition for the School of Education. The tunnel-like opening at center will be one terminus of a covered walkway from the Piez Hall addition to Wilber. At left and right, respectively, construction continues on a new manufacturing laboratory for technology education and the school's field placement office.Summer construction at SUNY Oswego will feature the kickoff of a $17.2 million project to connect and put a welcoming face on the School of Education’s two buildings and to renovate Park Hall, the second-oldest structure on campus.
