Scheduled for April 26 from 3 to 7 p.m., the Transportation Services Job Fair will be held at OCO’s main offices at 239 Oneida St. According to Jo-Lyn Phillips, human resources generalist with OCO, the Transportation Services Job Fair is the first of its kind for the agency.

Twelve years ago Bishop’s Commons opened it’s doors to just a few seniors who opted for the new lifestyle that was described as”the comforts of home without the worries.” Since March of 2000, more than 300 seniors have been served at the Enriched Living Residence while remaining active and independent.

Fulton Board of Ed Approves Budget; Tax Levy Increase is Below Cap Limit
Months of work and worry ended quickly and quietly for the Fulton Board of Education as members voted without discussion to approve a budget for the 2012-13 school year.
The proposed budget spends $62.4 million. That’s up $2.1 million — about 3.5% — from the current budget. But some welcome increases in state aid and a reduction in the amount the state will take back to lower its own deficit mean that the tax levy increase is 1.9%.

The new owners of Salmon Hills in Redfield recently announced that a grand opening for the newly renovated resort is slated for early fall 2012. The Koch Family (formally of Oswego) of Cut & Shoot, Texas, took ownership of the property this March.
