With the return to daylight saving time this weekend, the Oswego Fire Department would like to remind everyone to replace the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Red Schoolhouse Maple is one of three producers in Oswego County that are members of the NYS Maple Producers Association taking part in Maple Weekends this year. Along with Maple Hill Farm and Maple Hollow Farm, both of Hannibal, the producers get involved in the event to celebrate the process and to provide a fun and educational event for families.

Congressman Bill Owens voted in favor of legislation today that would build on six consecutive months of private sector job creation. The Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act is supported by the White House and includes six pieces of legislation designed to help small businesses raise capital, hire and expand.
The event is being coordinated by Oswego Health, Oswego County Opportunities Health (OCO), the Rural Health Network and the Pulaski Health Center (NOCHSI).
