The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y., today announced that the following local residents were among 848 students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2011 semester:
This year, Oswego High School students brought home seven “gold keys” and numerous silver and honorable mention honors in the 2012 Central New York Scholastic Arts Competition. This competitive show encompassed 87 Central New York school districts and more than 4,500 entries.

Students participating in Oswego County Opportunities’ Rural After School Program (RASP) recently had the opportunity to take part in a special enrichment session that integrated STEM Education.
This year’s event, the OCO Bowl O’Gold, takes place March 10 from noon – 6 p.m. at Lakeview Lanes in Fulton.
The party, which also included a viewing of the movie The King’s Speech, was one of the many special events that Catholic Charities’ community services program provides for the residents of the Fulton Mill Apartments.
With the need for food subsidy increasing and food pantries throughout Oswego County being hard pressed to meet the growing demand, the United Way of Greater Oswego County is doing its part to raise awareness of the food shortage in Oswego County and encourage the community to help fill the shelves of our area food pantries.
