Altmar-Parish-Williamstown’s (APW) Parish Elementary School (PES) held a very special Veterans’ Day program at the school to honor those men and women who have served in the Armed Forces.
The public portion of the meeting will reconvene at 7 p.m. as the “call to order” will be 6 p.m. However, the board will move immediately to executive session to discuss negotiations, litigation and personnel matters.
Scheduled to held Nov. 22 from 4 to 10 p.m. the goal of the event is to raise awareness of the plight of homeless youth in Oswego County and the services that OCO offers to help combat this issue and provide assistance to those in need.
The annual Thanksgiving dinner was held at the Fitzhugh Park Elementary School. More than 200 adults joined 337 students to partake in the feast. The meal was prepared by the Oswego City School District School Lunch personnel.
Dr. David King, the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the State University of New York at Oswego, traveled to China with Viking River Cruises. Dr. King has traveled to many places in the world and led tours as well.
Tammy J. Dishaw, 41 of Meadowbrook Circle Fulton, was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree (D felony) and Falsifying Business Records 1st degree (E felony) following a lengthy investigation by the Fulton Police Department.
Students at the Oswego County BOCES Fourth Street School in Fulton honored Veteran’s Day by participating in an initiative with the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

The Fulton First United Methodist Church Men’s Group is holding its third annual craft show, silent auction, luncheon, and chicken barbecue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 26.
Police allege a Fulton man made up a sighting of a missing person in order to give the man’s family some hope.
In the police report of the incident, police allege that Dolbear called the mother of Ray Gregory to say that he had seen Gregory early Sunday morning at the Fastrac convenience store in Fulton.
