Oswego High School will be hosting a hands-on workshop Feb. 8 to provide high school seniors planning to attend college, and their parents the opportunity to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid on-line.
A trio of Oswego High School musically oriented students were selected to All-State.
Students at the Kingsford Park Elementary School competed for the right to compete in the district competition.
Parents will be able to meet the teachers, tour the building, and speak to parents of current Trinity students. Application packets will be available and refreshments will be served.
Oswego’s 444th Engineer Company of the U.S. Army Reserves received an emotional sendoff Tuesday as they prepare for a year’s deployment in Afghanistan. Several hundred family members, friends and supporters packed the bleachers in Max Ziel Gym at Laker Hall on the SUNY Oswego campus.

Brian H. Dodge, 58, of Fulton passed away unexpectedly Sunday Jan. 29, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
Pete Eason, 32, of Arizona and formerly of Hannibal, passed away Thursday Jan. 19, 2012.
