Oswego Film Group Presents ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’ Feb. 21

Oswego Film Group presents the street artist Banksy’s film, Exit Through the Gift Shop, an Academy Award nominee for Documentary Feature. The film screens Monday, February 21, at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium of the SUNY Oswego Campus Center. The showing is free and open to the public; a discussion follows the screening. Campus Employees Donate Proceeds of Wear Red Day

Led by President Deborah F. Stanley, SUNY Oswego's campus community celebrated Wear Red Day on Feb. 4 to support the American Heart Association's fight against cardiovascular disease, the No.1 killer nationally among women. The effort, carried out by 21 employee volunteers collected $5 donations around campus, raised $1,525 for research, education and the development of new treatments to fight heart disease. Eleven student volunteers on Feb. 4 provided information and sold heart healthy snacks in the Campus Center corridor. The president's Office of Business and Community Relations and its interim director, Jeffrey Grimshaw, chaired the event.
