Members of Catholic Charities’ Step By Step Clubhouse recently presented the agency with toys they had collected for Catholic Charities’ Let’s Give For A Kid program.

The holiday season is a busy time throughout the Oswego City School District as once again a massive undertaking has been under way for the past several weeks in hopes of brightening this season for area families.
Louise B. Hogan, 84, a resident of West Oneida St., and a former resident of the West River Road, passed away Thursday, at her home.
Thelma (Gadbaw) Daniels, 100, of Oswego, passed away December 20, 2010 at St. Luke Health Services.
Jerry I. Muckey, 42, of Fulton died Thursday at home following a long illness.

The Oswego County Board of Realtors recently presented Karen Merrill, coordinator of Oswego County Opportunities’ PATH program, with a check in support of the program’s efforts of helping area youth.

A group of fourth through sixth grade Frederick Leighton Elementary School students created cards for residents of the Sunrise Nursing Home. They personally delivered the holiday greetings.

Melissa Wise, residential support counselor with Oswego County Opportunities, stopped by Canalview Travel to collect presents for OCO’s homeless apartment program.
