Basketball, kindergarteners and math provides for a winning combination. Coach Jessica Tremblay and several members of her Oswego High School girls’ jayvee basketball team took their strengths off the court and into the classroom.
The newest members of the Oswego High School Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducted on Dec. 29. This will be the third “class” to be inducted into the sports hall and though small in number it is high in quality.

Gordon E. Ridgway, 90, of Co. Rt. 57, Phoenix, NY, died peacefully on Saturday in St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
Ellen J. Vader, 67, of Hannibal, passed away December 19, 2010, at Francis House, Syracuse, of lung cancer.
While people are out shopping and enjoying the holidays the staff of the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways are busy at work pushing forward for the 2011 season.
