Pebbles is a six year old who has been diagnosed with Wilms tumors – cancerous tumors on the kidney-July 1, 2007. Also called nephroblastoma, it is the most common form of childhood kidney cancer.
The Oswego County Legislature recognized champion weightlifter Juan R. Collazo with a certificate at their December meeting. The 61-year-old Fulton resident is coached by Dave Eddy, also of Fulton, and currently holds five state records, five national records and two world records.
This year, John LaClair was named “Veteran of the Year”. Mr. LaClair will be the Grand Marshall for the Memorial Day Salute Parade on May 29th.
