The Oswego County Health Department suggests that people make their New Year’s resolution for 2010 a healthy one — make a plan to get everyone in the family up-to-date on their vaccinations.
Dr. Dennis Norfleet, Director of Public Health, emphasizes the importance of receiving routine, up-to-date immunizations across the life span, from infants to the elderly.
UPDATE: ADVISORY LIFTED. Travel Advisory Posted For City Of Fulton Sunday
The City of Fulton has issued a Travel Advisory and Fulton Police recommend no unnecessary travel in and around the City of Fulton. When travel is necessary extreme caution is urged. During the past day steady snowfall combined with occasional blowing snow has made hazardous travel conditions. City Department of Public Works crews are in the process of clearing streets however the rate of snowfall is making the task difficult and in some areas roadways are slick. Police also remind persons in the City of Fulton that on-street parking is prohibited from 1:30 AM to 5:30 AM. Violators will be ticketed and may be towed to help facilitate snow removal.
