When United Way Board member, Jonathan Daniels, executive director of the Port of Oswego Authority, was asked to serve as the chairperson for the United Way’s Campaign Cabinet he found it to be a decision that was easy to make.
Playing for Poverty, A Food Aid Concert for Oswego County recently received support from Dynamic Sound and Security in Oswego. The automotive accessory store held a raffle and raised $200 in support of the event.

Weather permitting, the Oswego County Health Department will conduct an aerial spray of the Toad Harbor Swamp on the north shore of Oneida Lake Wednesday evening, Sept. 2. The aerial spray will begin after 6 p.m. and continue until the area has been treated.
Fulton dominated the first team-vs-first team parts of the scrimmage. Both teams open their league seasons this weekend.
