Voters Can Try Out New Paper Ballot System
Voters across Oswego County will use a new paper ballot and optical scanner voting system in the Sept. 15 Primary Election and the Nov. 3 General Election. The new system allows voters to clearly review their ballot after they fill it out, and to be confident that their vote is accurately recorded.
As the school year begins and children shares stories about what they did during the summer, many talk about their summer camp experience. For some children this would be impossible if it weren’t for camps with counselors that have special training and the desire to make memorable summer camp experiences for children with special needs.

Playing for Poverty, A Food Aid Concert for Oswego County recently received support from Dynamic Sound and Security in Oswego. The automotive accessory store held a raffle and raised $200 in support of the event.
Weather permitting, the Oswego County Health Department will conduct an aerial spray of the Toad Harbor Swamp on the north shore of Oneida Lake Wednesday evening, Sept. 2. The aerial spray will begin after 6 p.m. and continue until the area has been treated.
