Maxwell Trial Updates: Thursday

UPDATE 1:  Lynn Maxwell remains on the stand, under cross examination from Assistant DA Mark Moody.

Few points made so far:

  • Maxwell believes her statements to police contained several errors.  Moody asked her whether she read the statements before she signed them, and then  signed them.  Yes, she said, but there were sitll errors.
  • Only a few cats had fleas in the home, she said.  Others have testified that they were covered in fleas after entering the Maxwell home.

A brief recess, then the testimony continues.

School Districts To Distribute School Supplies

Oswego County students in need of school supplies will find it easier to get ready for school thanks to the United Way Success By 6 “Stuff-A-Bus” campaign. Volunteers from the Oswego County Teachers Association and United Way Success By 6 staff will sort the collected supplies with a portion going to all of the school districts in Oswego County.

Fulton Family YMCA is pleased to host the life-saving services of Life Line Screening, the nation’s largest provider of community-based preventive screenings, in order to help local residents identify their risk of stroke, vascular disease and osteoporosis before the catastrophic effects of these conditions can occur.
