Representatives of more than two dozen human services agencies from Oswego County (and Syracuse) gathered this week to learn and share information about programs available to youth and families. Elim Grace Church, West First Street, played host to the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau’s forum in partnership with the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
Jazzy and Jager are sweet and cuddly babies, about twelve weeks old, ready to go to their own home. They would love to go together but if you only need one bookend, that’s OK too. They’re good with the other cats and dogs in their foster mom’s home.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced today (Oct. 28) that the remains of a U.S. serviceman, missing from the Korean War, have been identified and will be returned to his family for burial with full military honors. Army Cpl. Joseph Trepasso, 20, of Fulton, will be buried Nov. 5 in his hometown.

He allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse and oral sexual conduct with the victim being less than 15 years of age at the time for approximately a seven-day period. In a separate arrest, he allegedly engaged in sexual contact with the victim being less than 13 years of age.
