“There is some exciting news at the Fulton campus. There are some great things happening there,” CCC Interim President Gregory DeCinque told members of the Oswego County Legislature Thursday afternoon. They are forming several community partnerships he pointed out. Some of their partners include the YMCA, BOCES and the city of Fulton. “It reduces duplication. It allows us to partner with mission appropriate organizations and some very, very good things are starting to happen,” DeCinque said.

In light of the impending retirement of the secretary to the superintendent, he said he wants to replace her with a person who will also assume the duties of district clerk. Another person will be hired to do the public relations work that was done by recently retired district clerk, Bill Foley.

Erin Noto will assume the duties of principal at OHS effective Oct. 27 at a starting salary of $90,000. She has also worked in the Mexico School District and has taught and been a leader down in Charlotte, NC, for a number of years.
It spells out the obligations each one of the entities has in defending the tax challenge; the cost for each of the jurisdictions for the defense of the challenge basically from Nine Mile Power Station, the superintendent explained. It details how the district, county and town of Scriba would share costs as well as revenues. The board is expected to vote on it later this month.
