AmeriCorps Members Pitch in For Human Concerns
Several groups and individuals rolled up their sleeves over the weekend to help clean up the area. In Oswego, several members of AmeriCorps volunteered to clean up the grounds around the Human Concerns Center on East Fourth Street. AmeriCorps is currently accepting applications and plans to begin interviewing for summer positions in May. Crash Claims Life Of Altmar Woman
At about 3:37 a.m. today (April 24), members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, NOCA Ambulance, Altmar Fire Department and Williamstown Fire Department responded to State Route 13 in the town of Albion, near Austin Road, for a single-car motor vehicle crash. The driver reportedly died at the scene.
