Going forward with the budget process, Oswego School Superintendent Ben Halsey said he will be having some individual meetings with people he refers to as “budget builders.” He will work with the district’s business manager as well to get some numbers in place so that he can share that information with the school board in early March.
The travel advisory phrase means no unnecessary travel on city streets and no parking on city streets between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. which are the hours of the city’s alternate-side parking restrictions. Motorists are asked not to park on city streets during non-parking ban hours to assist city DPW crews in snow removal.

The long-running saga of who would be the head coach for the OHS Boys’ Varsity Track Team was resolved at Tuesday night’s Oswego School Board meeting. The board voted 4-2-1 to appoint Jeff Gordon to the position. The stipend for the previous candidate was nearly $11,000.
