The Oswego City School District Board of Education, after an extensive search, has selected two finalists as candidates for the soon to be vacated Superintendent of Schools position.
Mostly sunny on Tuesday – and a bit warmer, too.
Several groups and individuals rolled up their sleeves over the weekend to help clean up the area. In Oswego, several members of AmeriCorps volunteered to clean up the grounds around the Human Concerns Center on East Fourth Street. The Oswego Kiwanis Club reportedly did a cleanup along Route 48 in Minetto, north of the village. Several others have or are planning cleanups for Oswego County’s Earth Week, April 19 – 28.
The Oswego County Department of Social Services facility at 100 Spring St. will officially re-open to the public at 8:30 a.m. April 29. The staff will move back into the Spring Street building on April 26.
