The councilors unanimously OK’d a request from the Maggie Sue Glenister Wilcox family to use public space to educate the community about the deadly Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus. At last week’s committee meetings, Donna Wilcox, on behalf of the family, requested permission to place signs in Oswego city parks.
Oswego City School District voters will be casting their ballots for the budget, the purchase of 10 new buses and a $15 million school improvement capital project when they go to the polls on Tuesday.
It will be mild today with temperatures in the mid-60s. But there might be some pesky showers, too.
Throughout the ceremony, the curtains hiding the guest of honor continued to billow, partially revealing the larger-than-life figure. At 8:35 a.m. on Thursday, Zachary J. Coe, 18, of 824 Baldwin Road, Fulton was arrested for forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. He allegedly held the victim down by restraining their hands and touched the victim’s breast.
