The British Flag was lowered and the American Flag was raised over historic Fort Ontario as a large audience, mostly elementary students, learned about the history of the flag and the fort, too.
Isaiah-Michal Thomas Soto was born in Oswego Hospital on June 13, 2011.
Brooke Alyssa Hill was born in Oswego Hospital on June 12, 2011.
Zoey Marie Brown was born in Oswego Hospital on June 12, 2011.

The entire student body turned out Monday morning to salute the flag. Special guests at the program were John Canale and members of Oswego’s Battle of the Bulge organization.
The former deal expired June 30, 2010. The new contract is effective July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2015. The agreement sets a starting rate of $7.90 per 1,000 gallons for the first year. It then increases 3 percent per year for each year after. The college will also pay a share of the cost of the upgrade of the city’s westside wastewater treatment plant.
Looks like some more pesky showers around.
