The Administrative Services Committee voted unanimously Monday night to table a resolution regarding a proposal to correct a “serious flooding” problem in the Seventh Ward after no one could agree on who was responsible for paying for the work.
April showers will continue to fall on the Oswego – Fulton area for a while. But there is no snow in sight.

After retiring from teaching, Hope Marston embarked on a career as an author of children’s books. She has 32 books to her credit with more on the way. Marston will be the featured speaker at the April 13 meeting of the Oswego Reading Council.
The average temperature last month was 33.5 degrees. That’s just 0.4-degree below normal. And, total precipitation for March was 2.44 inches. That is just 0.08-inch above average. Snowfall, however, was quite a bit below average.

Heidi Allen, 18, disappeared between 5:45 and 7:50 a.m. April 3, 1994, from the D&W Convenience Store at Route 104 and 104B in New Haven. She was working alone that Easter Sunday. She has not been found. Her sister, Lisa Buske, is using her blog to keep Heidi’s memory alive. The public is invited to view the blog and share memories as well.
Fulton and Oswego received no snow yesterday. But March did end on a rainy note – and it has carried over into April as well.

Delaney Roddy is serious about her education. And, she wants to ensure the students who come after her receive the same quality education that has helped her gain academic success. Besides being a good student, Delaney is also a humanitarian.
