Students learned about the geography, climate, flags and animals which live on the world’s second-largest continent. The African traditions of passing on wisdom through proverbs and folk stories were shared and translated in to present day meanings with the students.

Mexico High School celebrated the top academic students of each grade level during the 2018 Top 100 Dinner, held recently at the school. The event honored the top 25 students from the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades, with a banquet-style dinner and cake in their honor.

Mexico To Offer 1:1 Laptop Program For Students
The Mexico Academy and Central School District is embarking on a 1:1 student laptop program to help its students increase their digital literacy and core competencies. MACS Director of Technology Steven Roux said the district will roll out laptops for students in grades two through 12 at the beginning of the 2018-19 school year.
