Sandy Creek Elementary will conduct walk-in registration for the Pre-K class of 2017-2018 on Feb. 1 and 2 from 1 – 6 p.m. on each of these days in the elementary office area. This registration is for incoming Pre-K students aged four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2017.
Sandy Creek Elementary School held a special honor ceremony for local veterans and their families. Students at the school invited their special veteran of the Armed Forces guest to the ceremony which began in morning program.
Six soccer players from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Junior/Senior High School were recognized as All League All Stars by the Onondaga High School League.
For those of the TV generation longing for an old-fashioned seasonal special like Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Andy Williams used to do, Fulton Community Theatre is planning a little “Christmas Something” variety show this year.
In celebration of the Holiday Season, the residents of St. Francis Commons hosted a Poinsettia Fundraiser to create a “Living Poinsettia Tree” the dining room. Family members have purchased poinsettias plants as a beautiful tribute honoring loved ones.
Club Lanigan is open to all Lanigan Elementary School students and is always accepting new members. Inclusion of, and kindness to, all from Singer/Songwriter Jared Campbell recently inspired students to be self-confident.
The Shirts ‘n Skirts Square Dance Club held a Toys for Tots collection event for its December 2 dance. The club meets on Friday evenings at the Fulton Municipal Building and has a long history of charitable giving events.
The Delaney Brothers, a well-known bluegrass/gospel group will be performing a Christmas concert tonight at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church at 6 p.m.
Kindness, compassion and acceptance are all Volney Elementary School character traits that were recently reinforced by singer/songwriter Jared Campbell. Campbell once again visited the Volney Vikings to inspire students to love themselves and everyone around them.
