In collaboration with Earth Day, the Phoenix varsity girls’ softball team joined forces with the Phoenix National Honor Society to help clean up the community. On April 26, participants were given a designated map of an area of the village and were responsible for cleaning that area.

Perhaps the most touching informational display was the victim impact panel by Oswego County STOP DWI. Three individuals who suffered a tragedy relating to irresponsible driving shared their stories of loss.
The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School recently presented its spring concert, much to the pleasure of a crowd full of proud family members and friends. The concert featured performances by the school’s mixed chorus and wind ensemble.
Second grade students in the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District recently showcased their knowledge of American history by performing a trio of short plays regarding westward expansion and the discovery of the Pacific Ocean.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County is accepting registrations into its Shooting Sports Program. This program is open to all girls and boys ages 12 to 19 who are interested in archery, rifle and air pistol.
