A newly formed running club, spearheaded by teachers Jennifer Killian and Danielle Bovay, aims to get students moving on the path to a healthy lifestyle. Birdlebough’s fall play ‘True Desperados’ to open Oct. 30

The John C. Birdlebough High School’s fall play production will be the comic Western “True Desperados.” Show dates and times are Oct. 30 at 4 p.m.; Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m.; and Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $5 for students and senior citizens and $7 for adults. The play harkens back to the days before television when families sat by the radio every night and listened to their favorite shows.

Granby Students Travel ‘Around NYS in 60 Minutes’

Mrs. Pulverenti’s fourth grade class participated in a four-way videoconference called “Around NYS in 60 Minutes,” which connected classrooms from four separate regions of New York State. Each classroom provided a short presentation on their geographic location to the other classrooms watching, without ever saying their region’s name.
