Local Organizations donate $3,600 to the Child Advocacy Center

Hosted by Delta Kappa Kappa, in collaboration with SUNY Oswego’s Men’s Varsity Ice Hockey team, the ‘For the Kids’ fundraiser was the culmination of a campaign created by students Denvol Haye, president of DKK, and Eli Kim Swallow, a forward on the hockey team, to raise money for the CAC and to help raise awareness of child abuse.

‘Heroes’ Ready to ‘Shoot For The Stars’

Move Along   logoThe sixth annual “Shoot for the Stars” 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball tournament will again feature the Heroes Game between the Oswego Firefighters and Police on April 26 at Leighton Elementary School. Organized by Greg Callen, founder of Move Along Inc., the tournament raises money to put toward the purchase of wheelchairs and other equipment needed to supply various disabled sports programs.
