On September 27, students taking Mr. Bono’s Participation in Government Class at G. Ray Bodley High School were given the opportunity to interact with three special guest speakers during class. The special guest speakers were from the city of Fulton Republican Committee; newly elected chairman Mark Aldasch Sr., committeemen Dalton Sherman and Mark Aldasch Jr.
Senior night for the Fulton Varsity Soccer Team will be held on October 8. Come out and support the team at 6 p.m.
There is no cure and only one drug for treatment which modestly extends survival. Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS, and every 90 minutes someone loses their battle to this debilitating disease. For Darby Leaf, this battle was personal. Leaf’s grandmother, Linda Hathaway, lost her fight with ALS this past summer.

During a special academics awards assembly, Pulaski High School Principal Jay Altobello was joined by former Middle School Principal Jean Lynch and current Middle School Principal Michael Bateson in presenting the awards to the students.
Al Hunter, traveling scientist with OCM BOCES Science Center, brought a portable planetarium with him on a visit to the school. He presented a program on moon phases to fifth graders, who are studying the solar system in their classrooms.

Participants in ARISE programs had the terrific opportunity to participate in a three-day golf clinic hosted by John Hayes and the Evergreen Hills Golf Course.Volunteer instructor, Tom Doran, worked with the participants to learn proper golf etiquette and form.
