Lyrick Cason, an Oswego County BOCES student with the Stepping Stones Day Program was recognized by a national publishing company for her original artwork submission for a kids magazine cover contest.
When Cody Richardson was a young boy, Legos were among his favorite toys. Now a senior at G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton who will soon graduate and leave for the Navy, he hopes to leave a lasting legacy for others at the Catholic Youth Organization’s drop in program, where he serves as a staff member.
Great prize giveaways, fun and excitement, and live music by “The Cortini Brothers” are all part of the annual St. Luke “Bundle of Bucks” charity raffle event, including the raffle drawing for fifteen cash prizes totaling $25,000 with a top prize of $10,000 to a lucky winner!
Helen Caster of Fulton is one of six students involved in a unique learning opportunity, an all-female construction project on the SUNY Delhi campus. Caster is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Architectural Technology.

The 23rd annual Lady Buccaneer Softball Mini Camp for girls ages 9-16 will be held June 24, 25 and 26 at the Oswego High School fields. The camp has a rain date of June 27. The cost is $45 per player. Enrollment is limited to the first 50 players.
More than 230 projects were featured in the school’s recent fair. Each project required students to research and create an interesting display on their own time about a topic that they find interesting.
The Friends of the Oswego Library respectfully asks the citizens of the Oswego City School District to support the Oswego S.D. Public Library by visiting their polling locations on May 21 and vote yes for the levy that’s has been placed on the ballot. This levy is required to operate and fund the Oswego S.D. Public library.
CNY Arts Center announces its annual Arts Festival planned for June 8. The event brings artists and crafters together with handmade original art on display for show and sale along with food vendors Tavern on the Lock and Treat Me Sweet Desserts, art projects including painting and fabric art, and a grand prize for festival attendees.
