Stephen W. “Steve” Salvage, 59, of Gaskin Road, Clay, NY, passed away on Friday May 10, 2013, in University Hospital, Syracuse, NY, due to complications of pneumonia.
On May 14 at 6:30 p.m. learn how easy it is to compost! The program will be offered at the Fulton Public Library, 160 S. First St. Sandy Bonanno, consulting ecologist, will show the benefits and how easy it is to make your own rich soil.
The Fulton Public Library is looking for people who have lived and/or worked in Fulton and have stories to tell about their experiences. The project, entitled “The Stories from Our Past that Inspire Our Future,” is being offered through a series of workshops. Local writer and teacher Jim Farfaglia will be leading the workshops.

Career and Technical Education students from Oswego County BOCES joined well over 2,000 students from other BOCES, technical career centers and high schools for the 47th Annual New York State Leadership and SkillsUSA Championships.
Heather M. Coppola of Oswego will receive a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Alvernia University. Coppola studied at the university’s main campus.
Lyrick Cason, an Oswego County BOCES student with the Stepping Stones Day Program was recognized by a national publishing company for her original artwork submission for a kids magazine cover contest.
