The Fulton City School District launched the “It’s COOL 2B in School” attendance campaign during the 2011-2012 school year to raise awareness about the importance of good attendance habits.

A recent Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District (APW) district-wide Battle of the Books competition put students’ literary knowledge to the test for an opportunity to represent APW at an upcoming county-wide books battle.

The course will be taught by instructor Kathy Hobson. Cost for the course is $75 and includes all course materials. The course is open to the public.

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I – Pulaski) met with teachers from throughout Central New York at his office in Albany this week. They discussed school aid distribution and other matters affecting schools throughout Central and Upstate New York.

The ten new members include: Lacey Saucier, Jenna Brockett, Courtney Trudeau, Kara Wade, Kaitie Mullin, Megan Waite, Sarah Pappa, and Joseph Baum. They join current NJHS members who actively participated in the evening’s induction ceremony.

SUNY Delhi, through its various scholarship opportunities and state and federal programs, helps to ensure that over 80 percent of Delhi students receive some form of financial aid.
