Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton had a special visit from the Guiding Eyes for the Blind program, as trainer Joy Hawksby and a furry friend – “Keno” a golden retriever were on hand, much to the delight of residents.
The contribution will be used to acquire new transmitter bracelets, batteries and receivers for the program. PLS assists in the location of people who wander due to cognitive conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, Down syndrome, dementia, and autism.
Members of the Oswego mite hockey team sponsored by the Oswego Sub Shop recently visited Oswego Hospital and donated games, puzzles and other items.
