Believe Musical Planned At Oswego First United Methodist Church

OSWEGO – First United Methodist Church of Oswego members will present
“Believe! A Play with Traditional Christmas Music” at 6:30 pm on December 20 at the church, 7111 State Route 104.

The play, written by Faye Couch Reeves and directed by Sherri Metz, is the tale of a troubled teen who has lost the meaning of Christmas in the commercialism and corporate greed of the season.

As the story progresses, he is shown that there is still peace and joy to be found by another teen who shares her secret.

Favorite carols and Christmas melodies intersperse the play and the audience is encouraged to sing along with the cast.

Join us for an evening of laughter, reflection and song, and renew your belief in the true meaning of Christmas.

The play is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service.

Admission is a donation to a fund for LuAnn Nichols; a local woman who lost everything in a fire on November 10.
