OSWEGO – Following the road to exceptional customer service is an everyday practice at Bishop’s Commons and staff is rewarded quarterly for doing just that with the “Ruby Slipper Award.”
Bishop’s Commons is proud to announce, Licensed Practical Nurse, Ashley Laskevicz was recently given the honors for displaying outstanding service at the Enriched Living Residence.
“Going above and beyond everyday is noticed by our supervisors, our residents and their families,” noted Senior Living Coordinator Julie Chetney. “And, rewarding our staff for their efforts is an important part of our initiative to provide the highest level of service.”
Laskevicz will celebrate seven years of employment at Bishop’s Commons this October.
Nominations submitted by residents, families, and co-workers for the award noted her attentive, caring, and patient nature, her ability to listen to residents’ needs, and overall nursing expertise.
A committee of residents meets quarterly to review all nominations for the award and then make the decision of who will be the recipient. “The award is well-deserved, and we are fortunate to have a nurse of Ashley’s caliber serving us.” resident and chair of the committee Glenn Clark said.
Laskevicz was honored recently with a corsage, plaque and a gift of appreciation.
