OSWEGO, NY – Canale Insurance and Accounting is returning to the Oswego Speedway in 2018 as the sponsor of the yellow flag. Every time the yellow flies it will be the Canale Insurance and Accounting Yellow Flag.
Owner Dave Canale said it’s a program they started last year, and have been very pleased with its success.
“We were the title sponsor of the Oswego Speedway two-seat Supermodified every year it was on the track, six or seven years at least,” said Canale. “When it was decided to give the car a rest we had to come up with a new idea. Sponsoring the yellow flag gave us a wonderful way to tie what Canale Insurance and Accounting does to the action on the track.”
Everybody, at one time or another, needs good insurance coverage. Whenever the yellow flag flies fans are reminded they too may sometime have a yellow flag thrown at them. “Before the yellow flag flies on you, be sure you’ve got the proper insurance coverage. Once again this year Canale Insurance and Accounting will be giving all race winners, heats, consi and feature, a Canale Insurance and Accounting T-shirt. That includes Oswego’s own Supermodified and SBS winners, but also ISMA and NASCAR Whelan Modified race winners.
Racing action at Oswego Speedway begins May 26 with the track’s 68th annual season opener presented by Holiday Inn Express and highlighted by the Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50s for the Novelis Supermodifieds as well as the Tony White Memorial 35 for the Pathfinder Bank SBS.
