If you have never painted, painted a little, or love painting but could use some guidance, the Oswego Public Library’s latest “Learn To” session is for you. Artist Robert Jones will guide participants in creating a painting for family, friends or for personal enjoyment.
For those interested in expanding or starting a small business in Oswego County, there is a small business training class scheduled to begin March 5. The classes will be held at the Business Resource Center at 121 E. First St., Oswego, from 6 to 9 p.m., March 5 through 9 and March 10, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Oswego County Legislature recognized former Legislator Daniel LeClair for his service over the last six years. Legislature Chairman Shane Broadwell presented a plaque to LeClair thanking him for his hard work and dedication.
The farmer-driven Northern New York Agricultural Development Program has posted the first results of a project evaluating the opportunity to clone high sugar maple trees. The long-term goal is to produce rooted “sweet tree” clones that maple producers can plant to enhance their sugarmaking operations.

He is a little more than a year old, friendly, sweet, with a beautiful soft coat and gorgeous golden eyes! He is playful, healthy and outgoing! He even comes when he’s called! Because of a urinary tract infection when he was younger, he does have a special diet of dry food.
