Allison Dopp, Fulton, graduated from Bismarck State College with an Associate in Applied Science in Electric Power Technology during the college’s 77th commencement ceremony on May 12 at the Bismarck Event Center.
Taylor R. LaRobardiere of Parish has been selected for inclusion on St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Spring 2017 semester. LaRobardiere is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in psychology. LaRobardiere attended Paul V Moore High School.
To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
The Fulton Art Association awarded two deserving Fulton seniors for their achievements in art and photography for the 2016-17 school year. The 2017 Art Award is being awarded to Stacey Sereno and the 2017 Photography Award is being awarded to Zach Vaccaro.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County is accepting registrations into its Summer Shooting Sports Program. This program is open to all girls and boys ages 12 to 19 who are interested in shotgun and muzzleloading or rifle.
Port City Roller Derby will host an intraleague bout on July 8 starting at 6 p.m. at Crisafulli Ice Rink, 32 Fort Ontario Road. Port City Roller Derby is Oswego’s only women’s flat track roller derby team. We are fun-loving and hard-hitting and want you to come see us in action. Our bout theme is “The Fight before Christmas (in July)” with a portion of the bouts proceeds going to Toys for Tots.
