The Oswego Fire Department proudly announces the retirement of Firefighter Richard Zufelt, following 20 years of dedicated service. Rich was a graduate of Oswego High School and SUNY Oswego. He is also a proud United States veteran, serving in the US Air Force and New York Air National Guard as a medic.
More than 675 transfer students have reserved places at SUNY Oswego for fall 2016.
The production runs Fridays and Saturdays: August 5, 6, 12 and 13 at 8 p.m. and Sundays August 7 and 14 at 3 p.m.
Members of the G. Ray Bodley High School Class of 2017 are reminded that the retake day for senior portraits is fast approaching. Retakes are set for August 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Students who missed their portrait sitting in June or who are having retakes done need to schedule an appointment with School Pictures of Rochester at 1-877-238-5015.
On August 21, a pancake breakfast will be held at Lake City Lodge 127 located at 765 E. Seneca St. The hours will be from 8 a.m. until noon.

The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
