The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation’s dental assisting class recently visited Noah’s Christian Nursery School in Fulton to educate preschoolers on the importance of brushing their teeth. The students used creative tools to capture the attention of the children while also teaching an important lesson.
The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation is gearing up for a substitute recruitment day March 31 to help fulfill the needs of schools throughout the area. School districts are currently in need of substitute clerical workers, teachers, aides, transportation employees, custodial staff, teacher assistants and food service workers.

The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau is accepting applications for mini-grants for 2016. Not-for-profit community organizations can apply for up to $1,000 for activities for youth during hours when school is not in session.

Don’t worry about Snickers’ eye. It’s fine, she just ALWAYS closes at least one eye when you try to take her picture. She is a pretty muted calico tortie with an impish personality. She’ll play with people, just not “up close” – so laser pointers and fishing pole type toys are her favorites. She happily sleeps with the other cats in her foster home and plays with them, too.
