More than two dozen members of area law enforcement agencies were pounding the pavement in the heat and humidity for more than two hours straight today (May 31) for a good cause. Members of local law enforcement carried the “Flame of Hope” from Oswego Police Department to Fulton Police Department to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics New York athletes, and the 2016 Special Olympics New York Summer Games, June 10-12, at SUNY Brockport.
As summer approaches, the thoughts of many students turn to time away from the classroom. On May 27, at approximately 10:30 p.m., State Police stopped a 2016 Dodge Ram pickup truck on Blythe Road in the Town of Hannibal after observing the truck traveling west in the eastbound lane. While searching the vehicle, Troopers reportedly located a large amount of Crystal Methamphetamine and US currency.

On Friday, May 27, investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force executed Superior Court arrest warrants on Adam M. Bell and Karisha C. Loveless. The arrest warrants were issued by Oswego County Court as a result of a grand jury indicting the two for the possession and sale of heroin.
