The Pulaski Historical Society will join in celebrating the Salmon River Winter Festival with an open house on Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A special exhibit, “Snow…What?” featuring memorable snowstorm scenes in photographs, postcards and newspaper stories, will be on display.

The City-County Youth Bureau is sponsoring recreational activities during the week of winter break in Oswego. The Youth Bureau will host Cosmic Bowling Feb. 16, at Lighthouse Lanes, 295 E. Albany St. The Youth Bureau will host a foul shooting contest and basketball game at noon Feb. 18, at the Oswego Armory, 265 W. First St.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County will host three sewing machine maintenance workshops to help new and experienced owners get acquainted with their machines.
The Oswego County Department of Social Services Workforce Wellness Workgroup was recognized as a finalist in WellTrail’s fifth annual Healthy Workplace Awards Summit held in Syracuse in December.
Oswego County Opportunities was recently awarded a $32,000 grant from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation for its Call-N-Ride Program. A large, multi-faceted human service agency, with locations throughout Oswego County, OCO operates more than 50 programs to 25,000 consumers annually.
