Three teams had to find a recipe, research the history of apples, bake a delicious dessert and present their product to the class and three guest judges: senior Makayla Sherman, librarian Rachel Allen and eighth grade health teacher Jared Cook.
The Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board will sponsor a community meeting at the Phoenix Public Library, 34 Elm St., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21, to seek input on land use planning for protecting natural and cultural resources.
